Heโs on fire: Magician James More was one of the stand out performances of Friday nightโs BGT live semi-final with his illusionist act
But he certainly managed to swing things around as he was met with rapturous applause following his impressive trick.
James could be seen in a shadow struggling to release himself before a second later the fire dropped into the box and he had disappeared fro the cage โ only to turn up smiling in all his hunky glory behind Simon Cowell.

An astounded David Walliams told him: โWow, amazing reaction. Youโre the fresh, young, sexy face of magic! We needs some magic on the final of this show.โ
And he also won over the girls, with Alesha gawping: โUnbelievable, Iโm genuinely blown away by that. How on earth did you do that?!โ
A stunned Amanda added; โWe have never, ever had a reaction like that about a magician on this show ever. It was sexy, it was cool, there was no lycra, no sequins.โ
And even Simon seemed blown away: โLast night we arguably had the worst magician on the history of Britainโs Got Talent and tonight we had the best. Itโs literally unbelievable. I loved the whole presentation. To be this close up and to not know how you did it, congratulations.โ

How?! The judges were astounded when just couple of seconds later James was standing unharmed behind them smiling
But he wasnโt the only act to wow the judges, leading Simon to admit this round would be tough as five of the acts could be good enough for the final, despite there only being space for two.
Singing 11-year-old โdivaโย Asanda Jezile was also one of the stand out acts, with Cowell even telling her: โO.M.G.ย I meas seriously, forget about your age. It just doesnโt matter if youโve got it, youโve got it.
โThis is good for someone whoโs 30 or 40. Youโve got a great attitude, I mean for me the best of the night.โ
